The Art of ‘How’: Why We Need More Than a Call to Action
We’ve all heard it before.
“Put on Christ.”
“Be holy as He is holy.”
“Walk in purpose.”
“Live by faith.”
Beautiful, powerful, life-giving calls to action.
But if we’re being honest, most of us are sitting here wondering… but HOW?
It’s like being handed a beautifully wrapped gift with no instructions on how to open it. We stand there admiring it, knowing it’s valuable, but feeling a little lost on what to do next. The truth is, in the Christian community, we are often given the call to action, but we’re rarely given the directions to get there. We’re told to “put on the new self,” but what does that look like on a Tuesday when life is chaotic? We’re told to “live like Christ,” but no one shows us how to build a life system that reflects that reality.
Let’s make it plain: there’s a practical side to spiritual living.
Leaving Out the ‘How-To’ Is Like… (Let’s Be Real)
Imagine this: you’re handed a recipe for a five-star meal.
The title says, “Bake a Perfect Chocolate Cake.”
But when you open the recipe card, it just says: “Bake the cake. Make it perfect.”
That’s it. No ingredients. No steps. Just the expectation.
How frustrating would that be? You’d be standing there in your kitchen with a bowl and spoon, no clue where to start. You might guess your way through, but chances are, that cake isn’t turning out like the picture. That’s how many of us feel when it comes to living out our faith.
We get the big, bold call to action… but the how-to is often missing.
Faith Needs Structure Too
Here’s what we don’t talk about enough: “Putting on” your new self is an action. And actions need steps.
Living a life that reflects Christ’s image isn’t just about the heart posture, it’s about how that posture plays out in daily decisions. There’s a practical rhythm to spiritual maturity. But if we don’t learn how to structure our days, align our habits, and build systems that keep us growing, we stay stuck in emotional autopilot.
That’s when the overwhelm creeps in. That’s when anxiety takes over. We love God, but we’re confused about what He wants us to do next. We’re unsure how to care for the blessings He’s already given us, whether it’s starting a business, managing a ministry, organizing an event, or simply stewarding our home life.
We aren’t missing faith. We’re missing the “how-to” of life.

God Didn’t Create Robots—He Created Image Bearers
One of the biggest misconceptions in Christian circles is this idea that we just sit back and wait for God to “move us” like chess pieces. But God didn’t create robots; He created image bearers.
He designed us to think.
To create.
To do.
God wired us to become clearer and more focused as we move. But so often, we do the opposite. We cling to the faith of Christ as Messiah, which is essential, but we forget to also model His life.
Jesus was more than our Savior; He was a carpenter.
He had identity.
He had confidence.
He led people, built relationships, and operated with structure and clarity.
He didn’t “wing” His days. He had rhythms. He withdrew to pray, but He also went into the towns to teach. He rested, but He worked. He wasn’t floating through life on autopilot; He was intentional. That same intentionality is meant for us.
The ‘How’ Comes From Point A to Point B
Many of us are stuck, waiting for Christ to swoop in and rescue us from our cycles of overwhelm, to magically put money in our bank accounts, or to supernaturally motivate us to get up and get moving.
But here’s the truth: He already came to save us.
He already left us an example.
He’s waiting on us to walk it out.
The “how” isn’t hidden.
It’s in the journey from point A to point B. When we pay attention to how we get from surviving to thriving, we realize it’s not one giant leap of faith. It’s small, intentional steps:
- Choosing to structure your mornings differently.
- Simplifying your commitments.
- Building habits that reflect your values.
- Staying consistent, even when you don’t feel motivated.
That’s the “how” we’ve been missing.
Practical Faith = Fulfilled Living
When we align our spiritual convictions with practical systems, something shifts. We start living structured. We grow at a steady pace.
We feel more fulfilled because we’re no longer tossing around in confusion. Holiness isn’t a lofty, untouchable idea. It’s a daily decision to order our lives in a way that honors who God is calling us to be. And that’s why we need tools. Frameworks. Systems that guide us, not bind us. Because the moment we feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck, it’s often a sign that our life systems aren’t supporting the life we’re called to live.

The Limitless Life Reset: Your ‘How’ Starts Here
This is exactly why I created the Limitless Life Reset Workbook.
I got tired of seeing women of faith overwhelmed, not because they didn’t love God, but because they didn’t have a system to anchor their life.
We don’t need more sermons telling us to “be holy.”
We need step-by-step guidance on how to build a life system that reflects that holiness in our daily living. Your “how” might not look like mine. But the framework to find it should be simple.
That’s what the Limitless Life Reset is all about.
It’s not about giving you more to-do’s.
It’s about helping you:
- See your patterns.
- Yield to your purpose.
- Simplify your habits.
- Tailor systems to your unique life.
Because your “how” should be as personal as your fingerprint.
So Here’s the Real Question…
What’s keeping you from stepping into the “how” of your life?
What systems are you missing that would make living a Kingdom life more clear, structured, and peaceful?
If you’re ready to stop spinning and start building, the Limitless Life Reset isn’t just another workbook.
It’s your blueprint for becoming. Let’s stop waiting to figure it out by trial and error. Let’s get intentional. Your reset starts now.
